Welcome back to the first blog of 2024...
This week in babies and toddlers we have been exploring colours and the rainbow.🌈🌈 Some of our activities have included coloured gloop, coloured car painting, fruit salad making, rainbow rice and much more.
Recently they have introduced morning circle time where they sing their hello song and place pictures on the registration board. Its lovely to see all the children engaging with this and all singing together. 🎶
In preschool this week the children have really enjoyed playing "Whats the time Mr Wolf" in the garden, hearing them laugh and scream as they play is such a joy. They have been colouring space pictures🚀 and enjoying the space themed area we have set up. They have also been concentrating on their fine motor skills by threading multigrain hoops and using the tweezers to collect bugs.
We have had the usual messy play in the tuff trays and all joined in drawing a picture on the floor using the large reel of paper and made some beautiful paintings.
