Over the Easter break, the transformation of our Busy Bugs garden has truly begun to take shape. The children had already been busy filling the raised beds and planting a variety of plants, but when they return to nursery next week, they’ll be greeted with even more exciting changes.
A brand-new herb garden has been created, beautifully bordered with the children’s painted stones. The bug house is starting to blend naturally into its surroundings, and wildflower seeds have been sown nearby to encourage even more wildlife.
We’ve also introduced a cosy new corner filled with shrubs, which will become a special space for story time - perfect for inspiring our little ones’ imaginations. Willow whips have been planted in a horseshoe shape, with plans to grow our very own willow igloo in the future. Even the old tree stumps have been given a new lease of life with fresh planting.
There’s so much more happening, and we can’t wait to share it all with you. Keep an eye out for our next update - there’s plenty more excitement to come!
