Exciting News!!

Good morning parents/guardians/carers, we have some exciting news to share with you regarding the courtyard in the nursery.

Back in November 2024, Karen applied for funding from the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust for the creation of an all weather play area. The vision Karen had was to create a communal play area in the unused courtyard for both babies and preschool to enjoy in all weather.

In March 2025, we received the fantastic news that we have been successful in our application and were granted the sum of £50,000.

The courtyard is the bridge between the preschool and baby room, the area has not been safe for the children to use for a number of years, so this is a brilliant opportunity for the nursery and a really exciting project to allow us to use this space for a variety of learning and development.

The paperwork is complete and the works are starting on the 19th January, we will be giving updates both on our website and the Facebook group so keep your eyes peeled.
