National Armed Forces Day celebrations

This week there have been celebrations all over the country to celebrate and show support for Armed Forces Day which was officially 28th June 2025.

In Southsea on Saturday 21st June on Southsea Common there was a military parade, a Royal Navy parachute jump, a Spitfire display and lots of other displays happening in the arenas. There were lots of service personnel enjoying the event and charities promoting their causes.

Today to mark the occasion there was a magnificent display by the Red Arrows out in the Solent which was viewed from Ryde on the Isle of Wight and along Southsea seafront, it was enjoyed by many people. The skill and faultless precision demonstrated by these pilots is breath-taking and a must to be seen if you get the chance next year.
