From Ideas to Identities: Chicks Named by the Children

Our nursery was buzzing with excitement as the children put their heads together to come up with the perfect names for our adorable new chicks. Suggestions came pouring in from every corner, creating a wonderfully imaginative (and sometimes very funny!) list.

A big thank you goes to the school children who attend breakfast and/or after school club who took charge of gathering all the ideas and passing them along to the staff. From there, our youngest nursery members had the important job of choosing their favourites - no easy task with so many great options!

In the end, the final names were decided by a vote. And the winners are…

Our two female chicks: Marshmallow and Fluffles

Our four male chicks: Dudley, Dave, Hei Hei, and Chip

We think they suit them perfectly!
