Surprise new arrivals

The staff and children all had a surprise delivery today organised by Karen the nursery manager, a man from Incredible eggs arrived with 5 slightly larger than the average size white eggs. The man was keeping the eggs warm in a small incubator and placed them in to a specially designed hatching brooder box still in their incubator. The children looked on intently and with excitement tried to guess what was in the 5 eggs, "chicks, dinosaurs", were among the guesses, however they finally guessed the right answer, ducklings. Over the next 10 days we hope the eggs will hatch and the children will enjoy learning more about the life cycle of ducklings.
